Going pass “Turunc Village” mentioned above, the next bay is called “The Kumlubuku Bay”. It is also nicknamed as “The Holland Beach”. This natural paradise with not much buildings on it has a pristine beach and such a clear sea to swim in. The reason it is also named “Holland Beach” is; a popular Turkish Chef living in Holland in the name of Ahmet, very popular person in Marmaris, came to this little village maybe in 1980 s and opened a little yacht club here. They yacht club is called “The Kumlubuku Yacht Club”. That’s why… His restaurant is still open and very high-end, top-shelf food is served. Also has a very nice little beach.
