Refunds & Cancellation

All bookings and excursions made through Marmaris.com are subject to the Legislation of Turkish Travel Agencies (Law no: 1618) and the Consumer Protection Law (Law no: 4077), which has recently undergone major amendments to align with European Union Consumer Rights Legislation.

When making a booking:

  • The person making the booking (the “party leader”) must have the authorization of all individuals named on the booking, as well as the parent or guardian of any party members under the age of 18.
  • By submitting the booking, the party leader confirms that they have obtained this authorization.
  • The party leader is responsible for making all payments to us.
  • The party leader must be over 18 years of age at the time of booking.

Payment:

  • Full payment or a deposit is required at the time of booking. If payment is not received, we reserve the right to consider the booking as canceled by you and the applicable cancellation charges will be payable.
  • Payments can be made by all major credit cards with no additional fees, or by using PayPal.
  • Prices include VAT.

Booking Confirmation:

  • Subject to availability and receipt of payment, we will confirm your booking by issuing a confirmation email and invoice. This invoice will be sent to the party leader.
  • Please carefully review the invoice as soon as you receive it. Contact us immediately if any information on the confirmation or any other documents is incorrect or incomplete, as changes may not be possible later.
  • We will also send you an email containing your excursion tickets, which you can print and bring as confirmation of your bookings.

Website Prices:

  • Please note that changes and errors occasionally occur. You must check the price of your chosen arrangements at the time of booking. Prices on our website may change due to movements in exchange rates and other factors.
  • We guarantee that the price quoted on your booking confirmation will not change unless you make changes to the booking details, subject to the correction of errors.

Issue of Tickets:

After booking your tickets, your vouchers will be emailed to you (unless certain exclusions apply). The voucher will include instructions on how to redeem them.

If you have any special requests, please let us know at the time of booking. We will try our best to pass your requests on to the relevant supplier, but we cannot guarantee that they will be met. Unless your request is confirmed in writing, it is subject to availability.

If you or anyone in your party has a medical condition or disability that may affect your travel arrangements or requires any special accommodations, please let us know before confirming your booking so that we can assist you in considering the suitability of the arrangements and making the necessary arrangements. If we feel unable to accommodate the needs of the person in question, we reserve the right to decline their reservation or cancel the booking if we are not made aware of these details at the time of booking or if the condition or disability develops after the booking has been confirmed.

Alterations and Cancellations by You:

If you need to change or cancel your booking, please contact us as soon as possible. We may not be able to accommodate all changes, and a £10 administration fee plus any additional costs from our suppliers will be charged for each amendment. If your voucher is updated, the original voucher will become invalid and should be destroyed. No refunds will be given if the original voucher is used instead of the amended one.

To cancel your booking, please contact us by phone or email. We will then send you a cancellation invoice via email. Your cancellation will only be effective from the date of the cancellation invoice. Amendment fees are non-refundable if you cancel your booking.

If you cancel your booking at least 10 days before your excursion departure, you will receive a full refund. If you cancel 4 to 3 days before your excursion departure, you will receive a half refund. No refunds will be given for cancellations within 2 days of your excursion departure. You can change the date or time of your booked excursion or swap it for a different excursion without a fee, as long as we are notified at least 3 days in advance.

In the unlikely event that we need to significantly change or cancel your arrangements, we will offer you the choice to accept the change (for significant changes), purchase alternative comparable arrangements from us, or cancel your booking and receive a full refund. We will do our best to provide excursions as described on our website, but we do not accept responsibility for every detail and reserve the right to cancel or alter any part of an excursion without notice.

It is your responsibility to have the correct passport and visas for entry to any country or attraction. We cannot be held responsible if you are denied entry due to failure to do so. Only the Rhodes Island Tour requires you to bring your passport on the day of departure.

Visas:

EU citizens do not need a visa to travel to Rhodes, Greece. There will also be no visa charges upon returning to Turkey.

Complaints:

If you have any problems or disputes with your excursion, please contact us by email at info@marmaris.com or by phone at +90 533 048 0264. We prioritize our customers’ happiness and will do our best to resolve any issues.

Any claims or disputes that cannot be resolved amicably will be handled in accordance with the laws of the governing country in which the excursion or activity took place. By booking an excursion or activity, you agree to submit to this jurisdiction.
